Franklin Institute of Science Museum
In the spirit of inquiry and discovery embodied by Benjamin Franklin, the mission of the Franklin Institute Science Museum serves to inspire an understanding of and passion for science and technology learning. The museum houses a collection of science and technology oriented exhibits with innovative hands-on displays such as a giant walk-through heart, a five telescope observatory, a fully functioning flight simulator, and countless other exciting opportunities. In addition to the science and technology complex, the museum offers a park filled with high tech play structures, including a high-wire tandem bicycle, 12-foot tire, step on organ, maze, and optical illusions.
