Top of the Rock Observatory

The Top of the Rock Observation Deck at Rockefeller Center offers one of the best views of New York City around.  Located on the 67th, 69th, and 70th floors of the GE Building, the top deck is 850 feet above street level.  Particularly spectacular views include Central Park to the north, the Chrysler Building to the southeast, and the Empire State Building to the south.  Though the observation deck of the Empire State Building is a bit higher than the Top of the Rock, many people prefer the GE Building so they can get a view of the Empire State Building itself!
