Gettysburg Cyclorama
A massive painting 29 feet tall and 359 feet in circumference that depicts the famous “Pickett’s Charge”, a failed assault ordered by Confederate General Robert E. Lee during the Battle of Gettysburg. Originally created by French painter Paul Philippoteaux, this recreation in Gettysburg National Military Park stands larger than the original and is certainly a sight to behold.
- See famous sites depicted in the painting such as Cemetery Ridge and High-Water Mark of Confederacy
- One of only four recreations currently in circulation
- Witness the painstaking detail in Philippoteaux’s immense conception of the Battle of Gettysburg
