Disney Youth Education Series (Y.E.S.) brings knowledge into the field with edutainment at work that is sure to keep students active, engaged, and ready to learn. Students are immersed in a world of learning focusing on the scientific, cultural, creative, and natural aspects of Walt Disney World® Resort, presented by specially-trained Disney facilitators using captivating material and breathtaking hands-on experiences. With curriculum-based academic journeys, Disney Y.E.S. offers real-world learning inside- and behind-the-scenes that opens eyes and changes lives.
Over twenty 2˝- to 3˝-hour field study programs in Arts and Humanities, Leadership and Careers, Natural Sciences, and Physical Sciences make Disney Y.E.S. a wonderful and unique experience for all students K through 12. With the resources of Walt Disney World® Resort supporting you, Disney Y.E.S. field studies allow your group to do things you can’t do anywhere else in the world!
Arts and Humanities: Grades 2—12 Programs in the Arts and Humanities focus on history, culture, and creativity. Many programs emphasize media, performance, and art, from the creation and production of animated films to behind-the-scenes work with Cirque du Soleil™.
Leadership and Careers: Grades 6—12 Programs in Leadership and Careers help students discover careers in leadership, business, and nature studies. Students learn life management and other valuable skills from experienced members of the Walt Disney Company and Disney scientists and handlers at Disney’s Animal Kingdom® and The Seas at EPCOT®.
Natural Sciences: Grades 2—12 Programs in the Natural Sciences educate students about issues of animal care and nature management both at Walt Disney World® Resort and around the world. Students learn about conservation, conduct their own scientific research, and draw up action plans to make a difference.
Physical Sciences: Grades K—12 Programs in the Physical Sciences introduce students to the scientific principals and technology at work in some of their favorite Disney attractions. Multiple programs suitable for different grade-levels focus on topics such as waves and energy, motion, chemistry, and physics.
