The Today Show is NBC’s popular national morning news and talk show.  Launched in 1952, Today is one of the longest-running shows on American TV, and it consistently leads in ratings for morning news programs.  Today’s co-anchors are Matt Lauer and Meredith Vieira, Ann Curry anchors the news, and Al Roker gives the weather reports.  NYC visitors love to come to the glass-walled studio of Today on the corner of 49th Street and Rockefeller Plaza during taping from 7:00 to 11:00 AM weekday mornings for a free chance to wave to the cameras and appear on live national TV.
